Apple’s Big Announcement for Developers – App Must Be Created Using iOS 8 SDK with 64-Bit Support from February, 2015

From February 1, 2015, Apple will only allow uploading iOS Apps that have 64-bit support and be developed with the iOS 8 SDK. By June 1, 2015, the new development will take benefit of the 64-bit support in Apple's A7 and A8 chips.

iOS 8 SDK with 64-Bit
In an announcement made through Developer Web Portal on 20th October, 2014, Apple informed developers that their application must be developed with the latest iOS 8 SDK and includes 64-bit support.
Right now, iOS developers can select whether to submit only 32-bit apps or universal binaries. However, such option is not available from 1st February, 2015.
“To make our application supportable with the new requirements/guidelines, we have to move all applications to 64-bit to get big performance and memory gains for latest devices, including A7 or A8 chips.”
We are using the default Xcode build setting of “Standard architectures” for creating a single binary both 32-bit and 64-bit code in order to enable 64-bit in your project. Additional, we have to require Xcode version 6.0 or above to execute these new changes in your development.
Previously, Apple brings 64-bit portable computing mainstream with the iPhone 5s in 2013 and since developed the advanced processors to the iPad.
The base model iPhone 5c of iOS device is only left without 64-bit support and we will change it as per the latest iOS SDK supported frameworks and will replace existing deprecated methods with the latest upgradable methods of iOS 8 SDK.
Additionally, any existing code has third party API that it can be updated to the latest versions of frameworks or library files that support 64-bit architecture.
We also resolve all the bugs and errors that occurred while the upgradation process. It will ensure that we have created latest binary successful that supports 64-bit architecture and iOS 8 SDK for an iOS App.
If you want to enable 64-bit and support in your application or developed application with iOS 8 SDK then hire us. Else, you want to download the latest Xcode 6.1 with up to date iOS 8 SDK, visit Apple’s Developer Center.
